Mornings start with coffee on the back deck while your kids claim the pool and the fenced yard. Evenings, your group settles into the theatre room and the game room, with the hot tub and barrel sauna going out back.
Our home sits on a fully fenced lot in Asheville, backing onto a creek, with a backyard built for
groups. The seasonal pool, six-person hot tub, barrel sauna, and fire pit are all out back and
private to your group, and inside there’s a dedicated theater room and the game room. It’s the
kind of place where a pool afternoon rolls straight into a movie night without leaving home.
Everwood House is our main home on the lot, consisting of a living room and a dedicated dining
room for gathering, a fully stocked kitchen, and a laundry room, with the fenced backyard right off
the back. The king and queen bedrooms are set up for the adults, while the kids get a room of
their own with a single bed and a bunk. Two full bathrooms round it out. Attached alongside is
Everwood Nook, a separate one-bedroom apartment with its own private entrance and no interior
connection. It may host other guests during your stay, but the entire main home is yours.
The fenced backyard is what sets our home apart. The seasonal pool anchors it, with a six-person
hot tub and a four-person barrel sauna alongside for cooler nights. A fire pit and an outdoor dining area are set up for evenings outside, with the creek running along the back of the
lot. Because the yard is fully fenced, the dogs can run off-leash and the kids stay in sight.

You will have complete access to the front of the home and the hot tub, pool and fire-pit area, which are totally private for you and your guest.
Please Note: Everwood House is the main home on the property. A separate, private apartment (Everwood Nook) is attached to the home and may be occupied by other guests during your stay.
There is no interior access between the two spaces. Everwood Nook has its own private entrance, dedicated outdoor space, and separate amenities. Guests of Everwood House have exclusive use of the main home, pool, hot tub, sauna, fire pit, and fenced backyard.

To make this easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots.

🐻 Wildlife Notice
Everwood House is located in a beautiful natural setting along a creek, and wildlife sightings are common. Guests may occasionally see black bears, deer, wild turkeys, and other native wildlife during their stay.
Black bears are a normal part of life in Western North Carolina and are generally not aggressive when given space. For everyone’s safety, please do not approach, feed, or attempt to interact with wildlife.
To help keep bears wild and prevent unwanted visits:
• Keep all food and drinks indoors when not in use.
• Do not leave trash, coolers, pet food, or bird seed outside.
• Secure all garbage in the designated containers.
• Never intentionally feed wildlife.
Seeing a bear can be a memorable part of your mountain getaway—please enjoy wildlife from a safe distance and allow them to continue on their way.

Wow… this home is seriously amazing. Mary has created such a fun and inviting place. I’m not even sure where to start - the furniture is comfy, beds are wonderful, kitchen stocked, pool and games so much fun. Every room with a brand new TV. Quiet and private space. Huge tables for meals. Everything felt so nice and clean and new. We had an outstanding stay. Mary was a great host and super responsive. We will be back. And then back again.

Our group consisted of three moms and our teenagers. The house was amazing. It had recently been remodeled and was beautiful. The outdoor areas were so nice and fun. The kids especially loved the pool and game room. The deck was perfect with a table that sat 10 and a shade sail cover. The perfect place for morning coffee and family meals. Mary was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. We had a sever thunderstorm that knocked out the power for several hours, and blew down limbs and leaves. She immediately messaged when she got the notice the power was out, and sent someone to clean up the debris and clean the pool. We hope to make this a yearly trip.

This property was outstanding. The hostess went above and beyond with fun details like a popcorn machine and a thoughtful coffee bar with everything you needed to make custom crafted coffee treats. Even a variety of coffee syrups were included. Care was taken to make the property appealing to kids as well. I brought my kids aged 7-27 and they all loved this property. The pool, hot tub, and sauna were such a hit. The place was clean and was well furnished with appliances like a crockpot, instant pot, and air fryer. The place was not only practical but aesthetically pleasing as it was extremely well decorated and had a professional, cohesive look throughout. One of my favorite features is that you could hear the babbling brook in the back yard. I highly recommend this place.

A wonderful place to stay with loads of entertainment on the property . The home was very clean and all photos match what we saw once we arrived . A wonderful choice when visiting Asheville.

We loved this quiet location close to Downtown Asheville and The Biltmore Estate. For our group of 6 adults, the size was great. The backyard was amazing, we had fun in the game room, and the kitchen was very well stocked.

We had a 3 day stay with early check in fees. The house was nice and clean love the fact it was in a cul-de-sac. The neighbors were absolutely nice when walking our Yorkie through the neighborhood. We had a great time in the pool, hot tub and game room. Thank you for hosting our family Mary

Interesting place and very comfortable. Interesting because its a fairly nondescript rancher on a suburban cul de sac among similar homes. However, inside, its personality comes alive. We were there for a quick reunion (3 old friends) - watched the World Cup on a humongous tv (which are ubiquitous), swam, hot tubbed, sauna'ed (got it up to 176F and went back and forth between the pool). Very well appointed throughout, comfortable beds. Actually one of the nicest things about the property is not pictured or mentioned (I think) - a gorgeous stream behind the house. We saw turkeys, rabbits, and hawks back there, and heard a lot of different birds. My only ding is that $2K+ for 42 hours (two nights 4pm checkin/10am checkout) is pretty pricey - not complaining, I did it and we had a great time! Fun splurge, especially if you're willing to just chill out and enjoy the amenities if you're there for just a couple days.

Let me start off by saying “Just book Everwood House now”! Our stay here exceeded our expectations and has definitely been the best experience we’ve had in an Air BnB thus far. The house was immaculate with so many amenities and fully stocked pantries and more. We were a large group with a lot of kids and there were enough towels to use for the pool, as well as towels to take a shower, which is so uncommon in a lot of locations these days. The only issue we encountered was really minor, which was the ceiling fans in the room and a/c in the game room weren’t working when we arrived, but as soon as we messaged Mary, not only did she respond quickly, she also had someone come out to fix it the same day. One of our kids had an incident where they popped one of the floats in the pool by accident and Mary was so understanding. We all truly enjoyed the stay and are already planning our stay for next year!
