Moonlit Peak
Where you'll be
"The view is breathtaking and so peaceful—we never felt the need to leave." That's what guests say about Moonlit Peak, our A-frame cabin on the water in gated Arrowhead Lake, 10 minutes from Jack Frost Big Boulder. Mornings start with espresso and lake views through floor-to-ceiling windows. Afternoons are for the dock and kayaks, evenings for the hot tub and s'mores at the fire pit. Three king bedrooms, a two-twin loft, radiant heated floors throughout. Resort fees not included.
Moonlit Peak is an A-frame cabin set on the Arrowhead Lake waterfront, inside a private gated community a short drive from Jack Frost Big Boulder and the Pocono Raceway, and it's welcomed dozens of groups into the kind of place reviewers call modern, spotless, and right on the lake. Floor-to-ceiling windows wrap the great room under a knotty pine vaulted ceiling, a wraparound deck steps down to the seawall, and a private dock pushes out into the water for kayaking, fishing, or watching the sun drop over the trees.
The main level holds one king bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The second floor holds two King bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom. Up a vertical ladder, a two-twin loft tucks under the steep A-frame ceiling, the kids' own perch above the great room, with knotty pine walls and a record player. The chef's kitchen runs along a gray island into a tile-backsplash coffee bar, with a breakfast nook in the corner for the slow morning.
Outside is the perfect outdoor escape. The deck holds the six-person hot tub in one corner and a wood-burning fire-pit table ringed with Adirondack chairs in another, with the gas grill and a dining table for six in between. A private rooftop balcony looks out over the trees and the sunset, and down at the water the dock runs two chairs to the edge for morning coffee, fishing, or pushing the kayaks off in summer.

Beautiful home and so many extras…fire pit with wood and starter kit, hot tub, paddle board, kayaks, large inner tubes. Plenty of seating in and out. Best location on the lake. Close to a beach, playground, the game room, and the entrance gate (which is huge believe me). Bedrooms have comfy beds with black out curtains. Really a special, comfortable lake home!

This was a beautiful spot. It had everything we needed and wanted, a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere with direct access to the lake, plenty of watercraft made available to us, beautiful view, a great firepit, hot tub, and the house itself was gorgeous. I loved A-Frame homes before this trip but this one was perfect. It had an easy and open feel and everything we needed was there when we needed it.
