Waters Edge Hideaway
Where you'll be
"The kids were so busy with all there is to do, they didn't even watch TV. No one wanted to leave." That's how a guest described Water's Edge Hideaway, our multi-level lakefront home on Dressler Lake in a gated Pocono community in Tobyhanna, 2 hours from NYC, NJ, or PHL. Coffee on the deck at sunrise, kayak before lunch, sauna at dusk, then fire pit s'mores under lights. Three kings, a twin room, and a kids' bunk room with a slide. Game room with pool, foosball, and arcades, hot tub on the deck.
Water's Edge Hideaway is a multi-level lakefront home on Dressler Lake in a gated Pocono community in Tobyhanna, PA, two hours from NYC, NJ, or Philadelphia. Private dock, sand beach at the seawall, and Dressler Lake views from nearly every main room, including the dining room, living room, deck, hot tub, and fire pit.
The vaulted-ceiling great room opens to multi-level wood decks above the water, designed for a group that wants to spread out. Coffee on the deck at sunrise, kayak before lunch, sauna at dusk, fire pit s'mores under string lights once the sun drops behind the trees.
Five bedrooms split across three kings, a twin room, and a kids' bunk room with a built-in slide sleep twelve. A dedicated game room with pool, foosball, and arcade machines keeps the rainy afternoon and the after-dinner crowd handled.

Water's Edge Hideaway sits inside a gated Pocono lakes community, and guests may purchase resort amenity passes ($12 per person, May to September) directly at the pool to use the four outdoor pools, three clubhouses, second swim lake, paddle boats, mini golf, and basketball and tennis courts. The $50 community registration fee is included in your rental price. Resort amenity closures are at the community's discretion and outside the host's control.

FAQs
• All guests and vehicles must be registered through the community before arrival via the Happy Guest portal, with a signed rental agreement and ID verification. Drivers need a valid printed vehicle registration and license to get through the gate. Completing your forms early matters: a $75 community late fee applies if they aren't done within three days of arrival.
• Resort amenity passes are $12 per person (May to September), purchased at the community pool, and are not included in the rental. The $50 community registration fee is included.
• The home sits in the woods, so you may see deer, squirrels, raccoons, the occasional bear, and insects, especially around the fire pit on summer evenings.
Some windows and doors can be drafty in cold weather, and a few rooms may run cooler in deep winter, so plan layers for a winter stay.
• With two bathrooms for the house, back-to-back showers after the hot tub can briefly run the hot water down; spacing them out keeps everyone in warm water.
• Strict cancellation policy; refunds aren't available for travel delays, weather, or illness, so third-party travel insurance is recommended.
• Optional add-ons: early check-in $25/hour, late check-out $25/hour.
• Professional cleaning between every stay.

This place is absolutely perfect for A Peaceful getaway . There was private dock and lake access with plenty of kayaks and equipment to use on the water. Great bedrooms and everything we needed for the vacation was right there. Hope to return

We stayed with 2 other families and had plenty of room (six adults and six children). All of us agreed the best part was the lake and outdoor space. We spent hours outside!! Also, the beds and linens were so comfortable. Great house!

Great place to stay for vacations

Our stay was absolutely perfect. I stayed with 8 other guests 4 of whom were children 3 and under. Mary’s house was incredible and had everything we needed. Each bedroom was extremely spacious and the house itself was very clean. The location on the lake was nothing short of spectacular. We ended each night in the hot tub and woke up each morning sitting by the lake enjoying the views. The HOA has access to great playgrounds and spectacular pools/splash pads. The only thing I would alert potential renters to would be the amount of stairs in the house. You definitely get your fair share of steps in while staying at the house. The deck is also starting to show signs of age but is still serviceable. That being said, it was a great stay filled with memories we will never forget! I would recommend staying at Mary’s residence to anyone!
